Continuity in a Changing Framework
We are pleased to announce the successful renewal and uplift of our full certification with the UK Government and Home Office to the latest statutory Gamma (v0.4) standards. This means our identity platform, KYOrchestra, is officially certified by the UK Government and Home Office as a robust Identity Service Provider (IDSP).
 This isn’t just a badge of honor; it is a necessity for modern recruitment. The Gamma framework is the first statutory trust framework under the UK’s Data Act, effectively replacing the old Beta framework. For our clients, this provides the peace of mind that their Right to Work and DBS checks are handled with the highest level of legal integrity.
Introducing M2B: Making Onboarding More Inclusive
One of the most significant updates in this certification cycle is the addition of the M2B identity profile.
In the past, candidates without an extensive history in authoritative databases (like credit headers or long-term utility records) often faced hurdles during digital onboarding. This “digital gap” frequently affected:
- Young Professionals: Those just starting their careers.
- Expats: British citizens returning from years abroad.
- Frequent Movers: Individuals who have recently relocated within the UK.
With the M2B scheme, Icover can now verify these individuals using secondary proof of identity. Our proprietary forensic document verification technology scans these documents automatically, ensuring security is never sacrificed for speed.
