A current officially recognized Work Permit, or other permissible alternative document based on jurisdiction, provided by a subject will be validated through a two-stage process driven by OCR and a sophisticated fraud technical analysis. This enhanced biometric ID Validation check is supplemented with additional sources that adhere to local accreditation standards. Activation will be determined through commercial assessment and opportunity.

Candidate Notification

iCOVER sends the candidate an email containing detailed instructions and secure links to initiate the identity validation process.

Document Submission

The candidate uploads an officially recognized Work Permit or an approved alternative document, depending on jurisdiction.

OCR Document Verification

The identity document is processed using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology. KY Orchestra’s platform checks:
  • Machine Readable Zone (MRZ)
  • Barcodes and document layout
  • Compliance with ICAO Document 9303 and ISO/IEC 7501-1 standards

Biometric Matching

The candidate is prompted to capture a live selfie. Facial recognition technology verifies:
  • Liveness (to prevent spoofing or presentation attacks)
  • Match with ID photo
  • Anti-injection detection

Address History Verification (UK only)

Candidate-provided address data is validated against primary databases to confirm identity continuity and presence in the UK.

Fraud Analysis & Manual Review (if necessary)

If inconsistencies or red flags are detected, the case is escalated for review by a certified Fraud Expert for further technical analysis.

Final Report Generation

iCOVER compiles and delivers a comprehensive report with a clear validation outcome:
  • Clear – Records found, identity and eligibility validated
  • Review – No records found or document not validated
  • Incomplete – Candidate did not submit the required information

Report

After a check, whether it results in a “CLEAR” or “REVIEW” status, a report is generated with the following key features:
